Our firm has represented sureties in performance and payment bond matters since its inception in 1975. Our experience includes all of the surety issues that most frequently arise from public and private bonded construction contracts, including performance default and contract termination claims, takeover and completion agreements and bankruptcy litigation relating thereto, surety's priorities in contract payments, payment bond claims, defense of obligee performance bond claims for construction defects, late completion and delay related damages, indemnity claims against bond principals and indemnitors and construction claim litigation by the surety against obligees and third parties as subrogee/assignee of the principal. Our firm also represents sureties in fidelity bond matters involving employee dishonesty claims.
